Beyond Redemption is closer than you think!
With it being more than a year since the release of my feature length sci fi epic, Redemption 101, I am pleased to announce that progress is being made with the writing of the next part of the adventure. This time around I am looking at producing it as a short series for DVD or TV.
We manged to sell virtually all of the Redemption DVDs and got some into very interesting places. I still have about 4 copies left and am considering doing another batch as I am seeing a renewed interest in it. It has also been good to see a few of the actors progressing well in their careers since filming. I believe a number of them would like to continue on into the next episode. I will however have to recast some parts with some actors now living overseas, well beyond the reaches of our budget.
I believe we learnt a lot from doing the first one, and I expect the next one will be bigger and better as we build on our budgets and experience. The Redemption Cruiser will be getting a make over as well. The new studio and better programmes will also help with effects, CGI and lighting.
This time around I would like to share more of the workload around so that I can spend more time directing and acting (if that's what it's called). We will be looking for help with sets and props, make-up, promotion, We need promising actors, hot babes for the Captain, interesting characters like robots and large insects, young children who scare easily and some silly old men for clergy.
I am still scouting for an interesting planet located near our studio as well. A couple of well healed sponsors would also be nice as we expect our budget will again run into the tens of dollars (last one was about $5000, mostly for props and food). If you would like to be a part of this experience and are not dangerous to yourself or others, keep in touch.

Now is a good time to learn to play an instrument or sing.
Have you noticed lately the similarities to the good ol 60's? When girls wore mini skirts, the threat of nuclear holocaust and America and Australia were at war with someone. This was a time when a lot of great classic tracks were written. Good old protest songs and the charged up lyrics of great writers like Bob Dylan, John Lennon etc. If you weren't around then, just listen to the endless loops played on TV late at night from Time Life trying to sell compilations of it.more ...
